eBanka cancelled charges for incoming payments

Effective from July 1, 2006, eBanka cancels the fee charged for incoming domestic payments under all pricing programs to a Personal account. Moreover, it lowers the fee charged for outgoing domestic payments under the Basic and Basic-free pricing programs.

This step is a part of eBanka’s long-term and successful policies in the field of fees, advantaging clients using eBanka as their main bank and performing all transactions with eBanka. Such clients are then provided with tailor-made products and services, which are closely related to the pricing policies.

Recently, eBanka already provided its clients with the opportunity to hold an account with a full range of direct banking services for free. It has also adjusted the price for cash withdrawals from any ATM in the Czech Republic to a uniform amount of CZK 6.90, which is one of the lowest prices in the market. By the last autumn, the bank stopped charging fees for closing an account and issuing emergency payment cards in a foreign country (Emergency Card) as well as the fee for Emergency Cash withdrawals in a foreign country.
eBanka is a universal bank for solvent individuals and small and medium sized enterprises. It provides its clients with a complex portfolio of financial products and services emphasizing the use of direct banking. The total number of clients already exceeded 470 thousand.

Approximately 117 thousand clients use the Personal and Corporate accounts with eBanka; 357 thousand clients use a product offered within the financial group, for which eBanka operates as the transaction bank.

eBanka is a member of the international financial group of PPF, which manages assets worth approximately CZK 250 billion. The owner of eBanka is Česká pojišťovna, which holds 100% of the shares in eBanka.
